Is Photoshop Easy To Learn ?

This is an common doubt which arrives to the beginners when takes a step to learn Adobe Photoshop. Most of them would be already creative and other ‘s might not be so creative but still they can handle simple situations. As far as the creativity is concerned about everyone is binded with the creativity. So don’t ever think that to learn Photoshop you should be more creative.

So here is the 15+ tips To Be Creative.

1. Feel Free by keeping the mind happy and mind should not have any stress.

2. Make your workbench simple and clean.

3. Dont try to design anything when you are overwhelmed or tired.

4. Keep your working place clam and peaceful.

5. Grow a small plant inside your room which can get you rich oxygen.

6. When ever you commit for a project be frank to yourself and ask “Weather i can do it?“.

7. Start using the tools which is easy for you and gives you the maximum   outputs (For ex: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, QuarkXpress, CorelDraw) (My Favorite is CorelDraw and Adobe Photoshop).

8. Go for outing with your Digital Camera and take the snaps which makes you attractive.

9. Watch the channels like Discovery, Animal Planet, National Geography channel because the programs are really rich with colors which can bookmark some color combination’s in your mind.

10. Visit the near by Garden, Parks, Lakes…etc. These will get you more ideas and creative thinking.

11. Watch everything happening around us in an photographic mind.

12. When you get any new idea which is creative. Smile and take a blank paper and start to sketch those immediately.

13. Always don’t depend on the computer because the computer is just an tool to get the output. (Note: ” If the input is proper only then the output will be awesome“) The input is the creativity  and the output is the final digital output.

14. Subscribe to the magazines which are related to Graphics, Art, Designing..etc

15. Be focused in what ever you do.

16. Get some inspiration from best designers (For Ex: Archan)

Conclusion:

These are my simple tips which i strictly follow when ever i design something. So its a suggestion to everyone. If you like this article please subscribe to our daily feed and leave us a comment.

Step: 1
Create a new Blank Document with white background of minimum size 1024×768. If you want a wide screen wallpaper then you can go with other resolutions.
Step: 2
Firstly go to the bottom of the layer tab New Fill and select Gradient with two colors from White to #b4ecf8 with Angle -45 Degree.

Step: 3
Create a new layer, select color #3da9ee and fill the top-left area of the document using a big radius brush as shown in the screenshot.

Step 4:
Now do the same in the Top-Right corner using color #9be1fb shown in the screenshot.

Step 5:
Again also do the same thing in the Bottom-Left side of the document with the color #aadaee using same that big size brush.

Step 6:
In this way using different color try to make it look like given in the screenshot.

Step 7:
This is the most important step to create the spark lines:
1) First of all take Brush Tool and got its preset menu and select the 1Px radius with smoothing.
2) Now select Pen Toll and go to its properties and check Rubber Bend.
3) Draw a line using Pen tool as in the screenshot and then right click on the document and select Stroke Path using Brush. Make sure you have selected white color for white lines.
4) Now go the Blending Options of that layer and check Outer Glow and just set these settings
Mode: Normal
Color: White
Opacity: 50
Spread: 5
Size: 5

Step 8:
Just do the same thing using new layer. Now keep both of the layers in a Group Box and named it 100%.

Step 9:
Now just create some more lines randomly and again keep them in a group box and set its opacity to 70% and also name the Group Box 70% for better understanding.

Step 10:
Create some more lines and the same in a Group Box and name it 25% and set the group box opacity 25%.

Step 11:
Now we have to create green lines for that first of all select green color and using the Pen tool make the lines from bottom right to the middle of the document as in the screenshot.

Step 12:
Now select custom shape tool and Append All the shapes after that you can see all the shapes.
Select the leaf and flower shape and just try to create the same as in the screenshot and adjust it like it is branched to one of the spark lines. Using the Transformation you will easily get it.

Step 13:
Again select the shape tool and select the Bird, make sure you have selected white color and draw as in the screenshot.

Step 14:
The next step is to create cloudy area in the bottom right now with a new layer. Select Brush and set its radius 300px and create some cloudiness using white color. Now reduce its radius with 50% and spread the white color little bit outside the corner.

It will look like this.

Step 15:
For the small circular white spot again select the brush tool and randomly create white spots with different opacities.
Finally you will at there.

This lesson will teach you how to make a plastic  sachet. We will be using plastic wrap filter as well as other technique to make it look more real.

Final Result

This Tutorial, would like to make into two parts. Basic and advanced. Now lets go for a basic tut, followed advanced.

This is useful for people who works on warp-designs for products.

Open a document 500px X 500 px.

Select the marquee tool (M) and draw a square 300 x 300 px.

Fill it with lemon yellow color(#f9be2e). This will be the base color of the sachet. If you have plans to make a red sachet, use red color.

Next select the rectangular shape tool (U). Draw a rectangle 300px width and height 30px as shown below. We need to modify this shape.

Select the shape and right click to open the menu. Select the Warp from the menu.

Move the top corner handles as shown below. Not necessary it should be exact. Press Enter Key to apply transform.

Make a similar rectangle of same width and height and as did above apply Warp and make it convex shape. Press Enter Key to apply transform.

Duplicate the Path,  by holding the Alt+Move tool (V) to 10px down. Repeat the same process once again. Now you have 3 lines as shown below.

Draw the paths for the  bottom part with the same steps applied for the top.

From the tool bar select the polygonal Lasso tool (L). Draw as shown below and join the end from where you started.

Select the middle part layer. Hit the Delete Key, to remove the area. This is to make the folding of the sachet.

As did for the left side , make a selection for the right side and use the same steps to cut the edges.

Now, from the toolbar, selct the Pen tool (P), draw a Path along the edge of the shape .

Create another one layer (Ctrl+Shift+N). Name it “highlights” .

With the same Polygonal Lasso Tool draw shape as below.

Now fill it with white color.

In the same layer draw few more shapes where the folds or edges are folded as shown below.

From the Filter menu (Alt+t) select Blur > Gussian Blur.

Drag the slider to 6.0 . See the result below. You can see the plastic sachet molding up.

Now lets go to make some salty chips.

Create a new layer. Make a rectangle with marquee tool . Fill it with color. I ve used here is  #fdfddd.

Go the Filters Gallery in the Filter menu.

Select the Texture which is the last one. Click to open more filters.

Select the Texturizer. You will get more settings on the right side which is shown below.

Press OK to apply the filter.

Next we will apply Motion Blur.

From the Filter Menu , select Blur > Motion Blur.

Apply the following settings. Press OK.

Draw an ellipse with the Elliptical Marquee tool.

Invert the selection by holding Ctrl+Shift+I.

Hit the Delete key to remove the inverted area.

Duplicate the chips layer.

From the Filter Menu, next we will use Twirl, which is in the ——————–

Drag the angle slider to 50. See the preview.

Duplicate another layer. Select the layer. Press Ctrl+F to apply the previous used filter.

You can play around with many shapes.

Place the logo (pic)

Place the chips and arrange it. Apply some drop shadow. Increase the size if the shadow opacity to 50%.

After arranging all the layers, make a ‘New Group from Layer’ from the Layers channel (for further editing). Hide the group.

Duplicate the layer group . Select all the layers and flatten (Ctrl+E).

Apply plastic wrap to give depth from the filter gallery.

Change  the settings to the following. You might have to make some variations  in the values, depending on the color you have chosen.

Try to get the maximum, by visually looking at it, in the preview window.

Tear the edge by using Lasso tool. Just draw a torn shape around the edge as shown below.

Rotate the torn by first moving the center point to base. Now rotate to 50 -60 degree from the option menu or manually.

Add perspective by selecting the layer. Press Ctrl +T . right click and select the bottom nodes.

Change the values of H to -7.5 or do it manually to get the result.

Press Ctrl+T and rotate the sachet at 110 degree.

Add chips falling below the sachet layer .

Add drop shadow to the sachet.

Add drop shadow to chips too

See the results.

Add a dark background color #691222.

The end results will be like below
